Connor Gill had scoring runs of 26 and 48 yards, and Peter Baird was 4 for 4 on point-after kicks as the host Mountaineers posted their first victory. Wachusett (1-6), which allowed only a second-quarter TD, got interceptions from Ryan McCarthy and Mitch Driscoll. Also shining on defense were linebackers Zach Bradt, Brandon Miller, Chris Chianese and defensive end Farsu Cote. Miller scored the final TD on a 5-yard run in the fourth quarter.
