Doherty 19, Holy Name 12

After falling behind, 12-0, the No. 2 Highlanders rallied for 19 unanswered points, scoring twice in the fourth quarter to dispatch Holy Name (0-2) and give coach Sean Mulcahy his 100th career coaching win. Luke Brennan scored on a 1-yard run to start the third quarter and then found Isaac Yiadom with a 44-yard touchdown pass. Brennan's extra point kick gave Doherty the lead. The Highlanders closed out the game when Jahkari Carpenter scored on a 2-yard run. J.J. Granger (2-yard run) and Max Cerasoli (23-yard run) scored to give Holy Name a 12-0 halftime lead, but could not hang on and give coach Mike Pucko his 100th career win.
