Justin Caro held top-seeded and undefeated Littleton in check for nine innings and also went 3 for 4 with two doubles and scored the winning run in the ninth as the 16th-seeded Indians (10-12) stunned the Tigers (20-1) in Littleton. Caro led off the ninth with a double and after Evan Anderson bunted him to third, Anthony Higbie drove him in with a sacrifice fly for the eventual winning run. Caro didn't allow an earned run while striking our seven and scattering seven hits. He pitched out of a jam in the fourth after Littleton had back-to-back singles to put runners at the corners. However Caro ended the threat with a strikeout, a comebacker to the mound and a fly to right. Caro also set up Bartlett's first run in the fourth with a double before Highie drove him in with a single. Matt Jackson was 3 for 4 with a double and a run for the Tigers, which scored its only run on an error in the sixth.
