Dan Polnerow scored on a 6-yard quarterback sneak with 39 seconds left, then added a conversion pass to Kyle Barrows to lift the host Lions (2-0) past the Minutemen (1-1). Polnerow completed 7 of 14 passes for 112 yards for the Lions. Bryan Hayes caught two passes for 50 yards and a touchdown and Joe Dankwah recorded 11 tackles and scored his second special-teams touchdown in two weeks, returning a punt 56 yards. Eric Edstrom scored a three-yard touchdown for the Minutemen, while Kyle Pearson found Anthony Baez for a 29-yard score in the second quarter.
