Early in the fourth quarter, Sean McGrail rolled right and dove at the pylon while being hit for the 2-point conversion, giving the host Patriots (2-3, 1-0 Inter-High) the one-point victory at Foley Stadium. The conversion followed Nick Vilaivanh's 5-yard touchdown run, his second score of the day. McGrail's 76-yard pass to Drew Sunden to the 5 set up that TD. Burncoat stopped North on downs at the 20 to end the game. Vilaivanh finished with 14 carries and 109 yards. Jahkari Carpenter ran for a touchdown and two conversions for the Polar Bears (0-5, 0-1).
