Heading into its Central Mass. Division 6 playoff game at Wachusett Regional, Bay Path knew it hadn't taken Vocational League foe Valley Tech's best punch. ‘‘We knew we hadn't seen the true BVT team yet,'' said Bay Path coach Al Dhembe, whose team won a 27-point laugher over the Beavers on Nov. 5. ‘‘That wasn't the Blackstone Valley team we knew. (Last night) was the true BVT team that plays hard and shows a lot of class.'' And through three-and-a-half quarters, the second-seeded Beavers kept the third-seeded Minutemen honest, limiting them to eight, quick first-quarter points until Eric Edstrom bounced out for an 80-yard touchdown with 4:59 left to seal a 16-0 win, and a spot in Saturday's Super Bowl against Assabet at 11 a.m. at Fitchburg State.
