Senior guard Mac Roy had 27 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the No. 10 Sammies (5-0) to the Rocket Classic championship. Roy made 11 free throws and was named tournament MVP. Gordy Smythe netted 15 points for Sutton. Reid Garrity and Kevin Doherty each scored 15 points for the Rangers (2-3).
