Sophomore Morgan Vander Baan had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Crusaders in a Mustang Classic first-round game in Framingham. Whitinsville Christian (3-2) shot 56 percent from the field and switched to man-to-man defense in the second half to take away Marian's 3-point capabilities. The Crusaders face Matignon of Cambridge in the final at 5 p.m. Thursday.
