Janet Wu joined WHDH-TV, Channel 7, in April of 1995 as a general assignment reporter.
Most recently, Wu was a weekday morning anchor/reporter for KIRO-TV in Seattle. Prior to that, she spent three years as a weekend anchor/reporter at KGMB-TV in Honolulu. Wu has also worked here in New England for WFSB-TV in Hartford, CT.
Wu is multilingual, speaking both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, as well as English. Her professional affiliations include Associate Board Membership in the Asian American Journalists Association, and Board Membership in the Native Hawaiian Legal Foundation.
Wu received her Masters degree at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Yale University.
