Join us for an evening out on the town at Boston's see-and-be-seen hot spot, The Rack. We'll have loads of munchies, all of the pool tables in the club for our use, fantastic music, and the most eligible singles in Boston. And the best part.... you can feel great about being there because 100% of the proceeds will go to The Globe Santa charity fund.

So, get into the holiday spirit, get your ticket, and get into your best duds.... because this is going to be our best bash yet!

About The Rack: Those who are in-the-know around town know that The Rack is the place to be. With a reputation for being the local hangout for hometown and visiting celebs, athletes, and the like, visitors to The Rack can almost always bank on seeing a star in their midst.

About Globe Santa: Since 1956, Globe Santa has been The Boston Globe's yearly appeal for needy children in Greater Boston. The Globe Santa fund collects donations from readers and advertisers to purchase toys for underprivileged children. This program helps over 50,000 children each year.

Who's invited? Single men and women from the Greater Boston area who are over the age of 21. ID required.

You do not have to be a member of the Boston.com Personals to come to this event.

When: Thursday, December 11, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Price: $25, which includes spicy Tex-Mex rolls, bruschetta, buffalo wings, pizzas, and other assorted appetizers. There will be a cash bar. Note: Food will be provided between 6 and 8 p.m. All proceeds from this event will go to The Globe Santa fund.

Note: To guarantee admittance, tickets should be purchased ahead of time.
