Republican congressional candidate Richard Tisei is out with a campaign commercial offering a respite from the recent deluge of campaign commercials.

The 30-second spot shows nothing more than the tranquil scene of waves lapping the shore at Good Harbor Beach in Gloucester, a seagull calling in the background.

While text explains the ad’s purpose (“...Because you need a break from all the campaign ads.”), the only narration is from woman who says at the end, “Ahhh, that was nice.”

Tisei, a former state senator from Wakefield and 2010 candidate for lieutenant governor, is challenging Representative John Tierney, a Democrat from Salem.
