Know that your costs will go up

When budgeting, keep in mind that all of these costs ultimately will go up. Remember, too, that many of your other monthly costs may increase when you buy a home. For example, if you have dependants, you’ll likely have to (or, at least, you should) get, or, if you already have it, increase the amount of life insurance you have when you purchase a home.
