Construction projects in the Boston area
Construction on the redevelopment of downtown Quincy began in July starting with relocating the brook in the city's center.
The first round of residential and retail construction for the area is expected to start in fall 2013. In August, the city chose a leasing agent to find businesses for 1.1 million square feet of office and medical space properties that will be available.
The final product is expected to include a pair of high-rise office buildings, a farmers market, 30 new restaurants, and a sweeping public green.
