A groundbreaking for the NorthPoint Lechmere Green Line station took place on Oct. 23, 2006. This week Archon Group, the real estate arm of the investment bank Goldman Sachs, confirmed that it had purchased the NorthPoint from Boston and Maine and Cambridge North Point LLC.
