GOVERNOR PATRICK LISTS MILTON HOUSE FOR $1.5M
Governor Deval Patrick is listing his Milton house for $1.5 million. That’s a 20 percent-plus discount from the $1.9 million he sought when first listing the house in 2009. Take a look at the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home.
The 6,880-square-foot house was built in 1923. It’s not the official governor’s mansion. Massachusetts actually doesn’t have one, as the state never managed to buy or build one.
The house has hardwood floors and nine fireplaces.
Patrick bought the house for $562,885 back in 1989 and now reportedly wants to downsize and move to something smaller.
The kitchen has granite countertops, upgraded cabinets, an island, and breakfast bar.
The house stands on .76 acres. It has six off-street parking spaces.
The exterior includes porches, flowers, and a fountain. The house is listed by Josephine McCloskey of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
