Residents living near the former Polaroid campus on Main Street may have noticed their houses shaking recently, and that's because Maine Drilling and Blasting has been preparing the site for a major redevelopment project. The company told city officials to expect noise and movement from blasting on Mondays and Fridays between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., with the work spread out over the next few months. If residents incur any damage to their properties, they can fill out a blast damage form at the Waltham Fire Prevention Office, 175 Lexington St. For a schedule of blasting, call the office at 781-314-3710.
