Media Bowling League Rules 1. The League consists of 12 teams. Each team will have six bowlers. Captains must phone in their team of six to Kings at 617-266-2695 by 12 noon on game day (no exceptions.) 2. The regular bowling season lasts 6 weeks. The playoffs/finals will take place during the seventh week. The official schedule can be seen here. All matches take place on Monday nights from 6:30 - 9:00 pm at King's. 3. Each week, there will be 6 matches (i.e. Your team will play another team each week.) 4. Each match will consist of two strings - the team with the highest combined score for both strings will be deemed the winner. In the unlikely event of a tie, the team with the best-looking captain will win. Seriously, in the event of a tie, the high scorer of each team will engage in a one-frame bowl-off (2 balls each) until someone comes out ahead. 5. The winner and loser of each match will be recorded and those stats, in addition to total points, will be used to determine each team's record for the season. 6. After the 6-week season, the top 8 teams will advance to the playoffs. In the event of a tie, the team with the highest combined score for the season will advance. 7. League Dues - League dues are $180.00 per team for the season (i.e. $30 per week; what a bargain!) League dues must be paid in advance, no later than January 23, 2005.
