Boston Summer Arts Weekend's Baroque Brunch 2014

Sunday, July 27
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Please join us for another Baroque Brunch, featuring live classical music from Boston's own Handel & Haydn Society. For more than 200 years, the Handel & Haydn Society (H&H) has been bringing early music to audiences in Boston. For the Boston Summer Arts Weekend this year, the crack musicians of H&H offer a cornucopia of Baroque classics during brunch with 99.5 WCRB morning host Laura Carlo.

Harpsichordist Ian Watson leads a cadre of H&H artists, led by concertmaster Aisslinn Nosky, in some instrumental favorites from the Baroque era, and welcomes soprano Teresa Wakim, who will lend her thrilling voice to arias by Bach and Handel. And be on the lookout for some surprise appearances by other Boston Summer Arts Weekend artists "getting their Baroque"" on.
