Red Sox designated hitter David Ortiz connected for his 400th career home run in Wednesday's final game of a series in Oakland, Calif. Ortiz hit a blast to right field off A.J. Griffin in the top of the fourth inning to tie the score 1-1, but the Red Sox ended up dropping the final game of the series, 3-2.
