Diego Fagundez, the 18-year-old midfielder from Leominster, was named Major League Soccer’s Player of the Week Monday.
Fagundez led the Revolution to a 5-0 victory over the Los Angeles Galaxy in Foxborough Sunday with a goal and two assists. Fagundez has scored goals in four straight games for the Revolution, who are 3-0-1 in their last four games.
Fagundez has five goals in 10 games this season. He has started in nine games. Sunday was the first multiple-point game of Fagundez’s career.
