Aggadan scores at Belmont

NEW YORK -- Aggadan beat Personal Touch by three-quarters of a length to win yesterday's $60,000 allowance feature for older horses at Belmont Park.

Snake Mountain was third of seven.

The win was the second in seven starts this year for Aggadan. In 11 career starts at Belmont Park, the 5-year-old horse by Carnivalay has won six and been second four times. Aggadan carried 118 pounds and jockey Edgar Prado 1 1/16ths miles in 1:41 3/5 on the fast track to earn $36,000 for Sanford J. Goldfarb and others.Aggadan returned $5.70, $3.90, and $4 as the second choice. Personal Touch paid $8 and $8.50, and Snake Mountain was $6.30 to show.
