Hendrickson had given Chivas a 2-1 lead in the 59th minute when he back-heeled a shot into the left corner of the Dallas net from inside the goalie's box.
Ramon Ramirez began the scoring sequence with a corner kick to Arturo Torres, who flicked a header to a sliding Hendrickson for Hendrickson's third goal of the year. FCD goalie Jeff Cassar was injured on the play and had to leave the game.
FCD will be without Chris Gbandi and Goodson for the next game after each player topped 21 caution points for the season.
