Tim Wakefield has received seven nominations for the Roberto Clemente award for his work with children’s charities. His celebrity golf tournament has raised $2.5 million for the Space Coast Early Intervention Center. Wakefield has also make significant contributions to the Make-a-Wish foundation, the Jimmy Fund, and the Franciscan Hospital for Children.
