A low mark for Princeton

In the lowest-scoring Division 1 men's basketball game since the introduction of the 3-point arc, Monmouth defeated Princeton, 41-21.

Princeton tied the record for fewest points in a Division 1 game since the 3-point arc started in 1986-87. Georgia Southern also finished with 21 in a 40-point loss to Coastal Carolina in 1997.

The Tigers (2-5) had their lowest point total since a 44-21 loss to Penn in 1935-36.

Princeton was scoreless for 14:54 in the second half after going 7:14 with no points in the first.
