AIC women surge on to Div. 2 final

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Sharmion Selman and Krystal Pressley each scored 26 points to lead American International over St. Cloud State, 70-58, last night in the NCAA Division 2 women's semifinals at Summitt Arena.

Selman added 13 rebounds and Pressley had 10 for American International (26-7), which will face Grand Valley State in the title game tomorrow at 5 p.m. Grand Valley State beat Cal State-Chico, 76-63, in the second semifinal. The final will be televised live on ESPN2.

Pressley hit 4 of 10 3-pointers and was 10 for 10 from the free throw line, including 8 for 8 in the second half as the Yellow Jackets made all 14 of their free throw attempts. Sascha Hansen led St. Cloud State (29-5) with 21 points.
