Flower Bowl Invitational -- Pletcher's Honey Ryder ($6.70) edged Film Maker by a nose . Honey Ryder covered the 1 1/4 miles in 2:02.47 at Belmont.
Vosburgh -- Henny Hughes ($3.90) pulled away in the stretch and won by 2 3/4 lengths, at Belmont, stamping himself as the horse to beat in the BC Sprint. The 3-year-old colt, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin, is 3 for 3 this year.
Phoenix Breeders' Cup -- Kelly's Landing won at Keeneland with a dynamic late move on the rail, running 6 furlongs in 1:09.94 to pay $26.20, $11.80, and $7.80 under Rafael Bejarano.
Lane's End Futurity -- Two-year-old Great Hunter raced to his second career win, upsetting divisional leader Circular Quay at Keeneland.![]()
