Tickets for the US women's gymnastics championships at Boston University's Agganis Arena go on sale this morning, appropriately on Leap Day. The two-day event (June 5 and 7) will determine most of the participants for the Olympic trials two weeks later in Philadelphia, with the top 12 finishers in the all-around guaranteed entry.
Among the top contenders are world champion Shawn Johnson and gold-medal teammates Alicia Sacramone, the Brown sophomore from Winchester; Nastia Liukin; Samantha Peszek; Shayla Worley; and Ivana Hong.
All-session tickets, which range from $100-$275, are available by calling Ticketmaster at 617-931-2000 and also can be obtained online at ticketmaster.com or at the arena box office at 925 Commonwealth Avenue.
