Guillermo Barros Schelotto scored and had two assists in the Crew's 3-0 win over Real Salt Lake last night in Columbus, Ohio.

Defender Chad Marshall and midfielder Brad Evans also scored and Will Hesmer made two saves for his fifth shutout. Columbus equaled the 37 points it had in 30 matches last season.

Schelotto had an assist and scored on a penalty kick in a 10-minute span for a 2-0 halftime lead.

He served a free kick from 25 yards left of the goal to Marshall at the far post to give the Crew the advantage in the 15th minute after being fouled by Robbie Russell.

D.C. United 3, Rapids 0 - Louis Crayton had his second shutout in three matches and Joe Vide and Quavas Kirk scored their first career goals as host D.C. United beat Colorado.

Vide scored in the 45th minute. Luciano Emilio tracked down a floating ball from Ivan Guerrero with his back to the goal just inside the box. He then chipped a pass to Vide, who sent it to the right of goalkeeper Preston Burpo.

Wizards 1, FC Dallas 1 - Jimmy Conrad scored out of a loose-ball scramble in second-half stoppage time, giving host Kansas City the draw.

Chivas USA 0, Earthquakes 0 - Zach Thornton made three saves for his first shutout in two years to preserve Chivas USA's tie in Carson, Calif.
