A Chicago White Sox fan made an incredible, overhead snag of a bat hurtling into the stands along the third base line during Monday’s White Sox-Indians game. The bat had previously been in the hands of White Sox catcher Tyler Flowers.
The fan, which MLG.com identified as Eileen Depesa, was “concerned with protecting the baby seated behind me,” she told MLB.com’s The Cut. More impressive than saving a child might be how casually she did it, quickly taking her second hand off the bat. Sign this lady up.
