Indians reliever Fausto Carmona, removed from the closer's job after blowing three saves last week, made some dubious history. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Carmona joined Minnesota's Rick Lysander (1983) as the only relievers to lose four games in seven days.Ricky Nolasco became the third rookie in Marlins history to reach 10 wins, joining Dontrelle Willis (14 wins in 2003) and Brian Meadows (11 in '98).The Yankees' Alex Rodriguez hit his 452d career homer, tying him for 31st place with Carl Yastrzemski.Padres shortstop Khalil Greene (sprained finger) was a late scratch.
