George Kell; frequent All-Star topped league as batter, fielder
George Kell, a Hall of Fame third baseman who was considered one of the greatest contact hitters of baseball's modern era, died yesterday in his home in Swifton, Ark. Mr. Kell, who played parts of three seasons with the Boston Red Sox, was 86. (Full article: 1148 words)
