Joe Cravero, of Hanover, N.H. and the Perigrines, gets out of a bases-loaded jam against Los Santos. The Peregrines defeated Los Santos, 3-1 to win the Mango Cup at the makeshift field. As the players boarded the bus leaving Penalver, Dr. Joe Cravero looked at his son's feet. 'I said, 'Where's your shoes?' and he said, 'I gave 'em to a guy. He needed them more than me.''
