Jacob Farnham of the Peregrines signed the uniform for a Cuban player after he received an Angels baseball cap and some sporting equipment donated by the visiting Americans. Farnham, 12, of Hanover, N.H., admitted he had butterflies about the series. "I just don't know what to expect," he said. "They're different than us, not as high tech. I know they don't have a lot of video games or television. They're out there playing baseball all the time."
