AL Central Preview

Minnesota Twins Always solid, always in contention. The one thing the Twins haven’t had since trading Johan Santana is a bona fide No. 1 starter, which winds up hurting them come playoff time. Nonetheless, the Twins get Joe Nathan (Tommy John surgery) and Justin Morneau (concussion) back, which bodes well since they won 94 games without them last season. Of course, both have to be their usual selves, as does Joe Mauer, who is rebounding from knee surgery. They have six starting pitchers who won 10 or more games. Roster Schedule Statistics
