Gabe Kapler: Remember when Kapler was on the fast track for the Red Sox manager's job? The former Red Sox outfielder, known for his no-nonsense approach to the game over a 13-year career, served as manager of the Red Sox Single A affiliate, the Greenville Drive, for the 2007 season before returning to the major leagues with the Brewers and Rays, then retiring. Kapler is currently assisting manager Brad Ausmus in preparing Team Israel for the upcoming World Baseball Classic.
