Dino Ebel: The Angels batting coach joined Mike Scioscia's staff in 2005 when he replaced coach Joe Maddon. Prior to joining the Angels, he spent 17 seasons with the Dodgers as a minor league player, coach, and manager. He was manager at Triple A Salt Lake in 2005, leading the Stingers to a 79-65 record. Ebel's career managerial record is 531-496 in eight-plus seasons. "It's always been a goal of mine," Ebel said recently about managing in the major leagues. "It's something I always wanted to do."
