Outfielder Cody Ross was one of Red Sox GM Ben Cherington's best acquisitions for the 2012 season, and he's now a free agent. The Red Sox have indicated a desire to bring him back and Ross indicated he wanted to stay before the season ended, but the sides remain apart on terms of a deal. The Globe's Peter Abraham reported the Phillies and Orioles are also interested in Ross.
