Boston Red Sox players Jonny Gomes, David Ross, Ryan Kalish and Daniel Nava are in town for a week-long tour of Boston, which will culminate with a free and open-to-the-public event at Fenway Park this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. where the Red Sox will welcome kids of all ages to play video games featuring Sony’s “MLB 12: The Show” on the field with Daniel Nava and Will Middlebrooks.

Outfielder Jonny Gomes surprised Carol Wennerstrom of Chicago with four tickets to a Red Sox game during a lunchtime stop at Quincy Market during a promotional trolley tour of Boston. The visit to Boston was the first for Gomes since joining the Red Sox on Dec. 1.

It was the first trip back to Boston for David Ross since re-joining the club for whom he played briefly in 2008.

Nora Mooney of Dorchester showed off four tickets she received from a group players during her lunch break at Quincy Market.
