The Red Sox acted quickly as heavy rain fell on Friday, postponing their game against the Los Angeles Angels six and half hours before the first pitch was scheduled.

The teams will play a day/night doubleheader at Fenway Park on Saturday.

The first game will be at 1:05 p.m. and is on NESN. The Red Sox will pitch Felix Doubront against Tommy Hanson. Tickets for the postponed game on Friday will be honored for that game.

The second game, which is on Fox, will have Clay Buchholz pitching against C.J. Wilson.

The final game of the series is scheduled for Sunday afternoon. The Red Sox have Ryan Dempster scheduled with the Angels pitching Joe Blanton.
