Season recap: After a tough 2012 season, James Loney regained his form in Tampa Bay that saw him star is Los Angeles. He hit .300 in 2013 with 13 home runs and 75 RBIs, his highest total since he tallied 88 in 2010. Loney also sported a .781 OPS.
Red Sox ties: Loney spent just over a month with the Red Sox in 2012, coming over in the August Red Sox-Dodgers megadeal to fill in at first base for the remainder of the season. In 30 games with Boston, Loney hit .230 in 100 at bats with two home runs and eight RBIs.
