The Rays roughed up lefthander Felix Doubront in a 9-2 win Sunday at Fort Myers, Fla.

Doubront gave up eight runs on 10 hits, including a home run, and two walks with six strikeouts in 4 innings. He faced 12 batters over the first two innings, needing 44 pitches, and gave up four runs. Rays starter Matt Moore and relievers Brandon Gomes and Juan Carlos Oviedo combined to hold the Sox hitless into the seventh inning before Xander Bogaerts’s one-out single. The Sox finished with five hits while the Rays had 13.
