Wakefield is 5-5 with a 3.18 ERA lifetime at Yankee Stadium . . . After last night's 6-0 loss to Toronto, the Yankees were on a five-game losing streak despite the incredible April of Alex Rodriguez (14 HRs, 34 RBIs, .385 BA) . . . Pettitte, who pitched twice in Boston last week (one start, one relief appearance), was supposed to start Wednesday vs. the Blue Jays, but was pushed back because of a rainout . . .
