Green Monster wedding was stuff that dreams are made of

Annette and Larry Rine were the kind of couple Carol Merletti waited four years to marry.
Annette grew up in Vermont a huge Red Sox fan. The first game Larry saw in person was at Fenway Park. The fact that they now live in New York only made it better.
They found Merletti's website, Weddingofyourdesire.com, and sent her an e-mail saying their dream wedding was at Fenway Park.
So was Merletti's.
A justice of the peace in Malden, Merletti has married couples in hotels, parks, and Boston Common. But she had been dying for a couple to tie the knot at Fenway. "It's been on my website begging brides to have them get married there," she said.
Along came the Rines. "We came up with Fenway and we looked into it more, and before you know it, we were up on the Green Monster getting married," said Larry.
Merletti married the couple during the seventh-inning stretch of the last Sox game of the regular season. And if you don't count the final score (a 3-2 loss to the Twins), the wedding went off without a hitch.
The Rines wore matching jerseys. Larry's had "Mr." on the back; Annette's had "Mrs." And as the middle of the seventh inning approached, onlookers got into the spirit of the moment. "They were all excited," Annette recalled. "One guy asked where the cake was."
