The Red Sox won't have to face Brewers ace Ben Sheets, who yesterday suffered his first loss in five decisions, allowing six runs on nine hits in 6 1/3 innings of a 7-2 setback to the Dodgers . . . The Brewers placed former Red Sox reliever David Riske on the DL with a right elbow injury. In 18 appearances, he was 0-1 with a 4.71 ERA and a save. To replace him, Milwaukee called up Mark DiFelice, who is on a major league roster for the first time after 11 years in the minors.
