In what has become a familiar scene this season, a frustrated David Ortiz returns to the dugout after a fruitless at-bat. Big Papi went 0 for 5 and is hitting .195.

The Red Sox' offensive onslaught yesterday made David Oritz's struggles more glaring. Nine Sox batted against the Mets in a 12-5 victory. Eight had at least one hit and reached base at least twice. Ortiz went 0 for 5 with two strikeouts and eight men left on base, dropping his average to .195, its lowest point since April 19. (Full article: 1206 words)
