TORONTO - Dustin Pedroia became a power hitter over certain periods of last season, but only, he says, by accident. He hit 17 home runs in 2008, but he speaks about them as if fate, not the barrel of a bat, decides when they occur. "Home runs happen," he said. (Full article: 725 words)
