Last October, days after he finished practicing alongside minor leaguers in the Arizona Fall League, Clay Buchholz watched Game 7 of the American League Championship Series on television on his girlfriend’s couch in Los Angeles. The pitching was exquisite, and it would have been fun to watch if his Red Sox weren’t getting shut down by Tampa Bay’s Matt Garza. (Full article: 747 words)
