Kalish’s night turns on collision
Rookie stunned by Santana’s injury
Ryan Kalish was not stopping at third base, he wanted to score. After a pinch-hit single by Daniel Nava, Kalish raced toward home from second base. The Red Sox were trailing, 6-2, in the seventh inning and Kalish wanted to provide a spark. So he ran as fast as he could, hoping to beat Shin-Soo Choo’s throw to the plate. (Full article: 527 words)
