Red Sox owner John Henry suffered a minor injury aboard his yacht yesterday, was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, and checked out fine, according to a team spokesman.
Boston EMS spokeswoman Jennifer Mehigan would only say that someone was injured aboard the Iroquois, a yacht owned by Henry, and paramedics met the victim, who was conscious and alert, at Rowes Wharf at about 6 p.m.
A Mass. General spokeswoman referred all questions to the Sox’ press office.
Team president Larry Lucchino told WBZ Radio that Henry was injured in a minor incident aboard the yacht. The station also reported that Henry walked off the yacht wearing a neck brace.![]()
