Red Sox at the halfway point

Is it Year 5 of J.D. Drew already? The debates raged on from the corner pubs of Southie to Sonny McLean's in Santa Monica, Calif., for most of his five years in Boston. Has J.D. Drew been worth the money ($14M in 2011)? Many agree that Year 5 of J.D. has been one to forget so far. With 80 games in the books, Drew checks in with a woeful .660 OPS, a .234 average, and just nine extra-base hits on the season. If Josh Reddick keeps hammering AL pitching, it will be interesting to see if Drew remains the starter in the second half of the season.
